Overview

Rob joined Balderton Capital in 2009 and was promoted to partner in 2015.

Rob’s focus sectors are fintech, insurtech, gaming, marketplaces and SaaS. Rob works closely with companies including Dream Games, Cleo, Wagestream, Primer, Zego, Premialab, PlayPlay, Agave, Lassie, Qargo, Lawhive and Carwow. Prior investments include Wooga (acquired by Playtika) and Numeral (acquired by Mambu).

Rob previously worked for Google as a Manager in the EMEA Strategy & Ops team, and as a senior consultant at Bain. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MMath from Cambridge.
