Melissa joined Balderton’s marketing team in 2021. Prior to Balderton, Melissa was at Octopus Ventures where she was the first marketing hire and responsible for spearheading their marketing efforts.

Before entering the world of VC, Melissa worked as a Brand Manager at itsu, where she took several products from idea to market. Melissa has a particular interest in brand building and spent several years working on the strategy and execution of challenger brands at the consultancy firm, Big Fish.

Melissa holds a BA in Geography from Oxford University and is a lover of the great outdoors.
